The share link works before processing finishes. Copy it, send it to up to ten people by email (from your first payment, if you are on a trial), or put it in your embed.
Solo records up to 30 minutes a take. There is no per-take limit from Creator. Each plan takes a set number of hours of new video a month, starting at 4 on Solo.

Screen, camera, or both. With both, the camera goes in any corner, large or small, as a circle or a rounded square. The preview shows your camera with the background blur applied before you start.

While you record: Move the camera without stopping.
The corner, size and shape stay on the recording bar, so you can get out of the way of whatever you are showing mid-take. The bar shows the time and how much is already saved.

Nothing to install
The recorder runs in a browser tab at console.stillhaven.io/record. There is no desktop app and no extension. Sign in, allow the camera and microphone once, and record. On a phone or tablet that cannot share its screen, it records the camera.
Blur the background behind you
Recording your camera, alone or in the corner of a screen recording, has a Background option: blurred, or strongly blurred. A person-detection model runs in your browser, so no video leaves the page for it. Where a browser cannot run it, the recorder says so and records as it is. On every paid plan, Solo included.
Captions on by default
Every recording gets captions and a transcript you can edit, so names and wording come out right. Untick Generate captions before you record if you do not want them.
The recording is also the hosted video
Embed it on your site
With the embed locked to your domains, so a copied embed code plays nowhere else. Every plan.
Send it to a client for sign-off
Client review: timestamped notes on the share page, no account needed, and a sign-off when the cut is right. Every plan. Untick Allow comments and reactions when you save the recording, since a video takes notes or comments, not both.
Give it an end date
A link that stops working after six hours to thirty days, or a password on the share page. Every plan.
Put it in a channel
Gather recordings into a series at an address you choose, public or private. Creator and up.

The recorder can fade in and out as you record, on every plan. Afterwards, cut the start and the end and add a fade in and out once a recording is saved. The original is kept untouched and the edited cut is what plays. Studio and up.

What it is not

Do I need to install anything to record?

How long can a recording be?
Up to 30 minutes at a time on Solo, with no per-take limit from Creator. Each plan also takes a set number of hours of new video a month: 4 on Solo, 10 on Creator, 20 on Studio, 40 on Broadcast.
What happens if I close the tab while recording?
Parts upload as you record, so you lose seconds, not the recording. What reached us can be saved as a video of its own.
Can I record just my camera?
Yes. Your screen, your camera, or both with the camera in the corner. On a phone or tablet that cannot share its screen, the recorder records the camera.
Can I blur my background?
Yes, on every paid plan. The blur runs in your browser; no video leaves the page for it.
Can I edit a recording?
You can add a fade in and out as you record, on every plan. Studio and up can also trim the start and end afterwards and add fades then. The original is kept.
Can I try the recorder without an account?
Yes. The demo page runs a copy of the console's recorder in your browser, with the same screens and controls. Nothing is uploaded or saved; download the take if you want to keep it.
